TO THE WORLD STAGE
Giuseppe Romano was born in Pagani (Salerno) on December 20, 1983, and grew up in Campania. The gym came into his life as a teenager, under the guidance of his instructor Nicola: not a hobby, but a healthy obsession — the kind that takes you far.
He made his stage debut in 2003 in Rocca Piemonte. For twelve years he competed at national and international IFBB shows — earning a spot on the Italian national team at the Arnold Classic. But it was in 2009, with his first athlete Francesco Montuori, that Romano discovered his true calling: building athletes.
December 2015: his last show as an athlete. He closed one chapter to open another, dedicating himself 100% to coaching. The Romano Protocol took its final shape: a method built on the stage, not in books — "I learned from my coaches what not to do, and that's what set me apart."
In 2021 he founded Boom Nutrition S.R.L., an operational hub combining retail and athlete management, with Yamamoto Nutrition as official sponsor. By his side is Martina Merone, IFBB Pro, his life and stage partner.
Today Team Romano is a recognized force at European level: ~500 athletes coached, 170+ championship titles, more than 20 Mr. Olympia qualifications. An ecosystem that keeps growing season after season.

THE JOURNEY
Giuseppe Romano is born on December 20 in Pagani (Salerno). The gym enters his life as a teenager, under the guidance of his instructor Nicola — the start of everything.
First time on stage in Rocca Piemonte. From there: national IFBB shows, the Italian national team, and international stages like the Arnold Classic.
He opens his coaching practice. First athlete: Francesco Montuori. The calling is no longer to build his own body, but the bodies of others.
December 2015: last show as an athlete. Romano closes 12 years of competition and commits 100% to coaching. The Romano Protocol takes its final shape.
57 athletes brought to the stage. 29 become Italian champions. ProCards won in Spain, Portugal and Denmark. Team Romano enters the European elite.
He founds Boom Nutrition S.R.L., an operational hub combining retail and athlete management. In the same year, 21 athletes turn Pro. Official partnership with Yamamoto Nutrition.
A high-level athlete ecosystem. 1000+ podiums. 100+ ProCards. 20+ Olympia qualifications. The Romano Protocol as a recognized method in Italian bodybuilding.
